The short answer
Mullins Supply Barn is a farm and home general store at 139 S Main St in Crittenden, Kentucky, two minutes off I-75 exit 166. We carry feed for horses, cattle, goats, dogs and cats, live bait, Ariat and Key workwear, hardware, plumbing, landscaping supplies, bulk gravel and firewood. Call 859-428-0165.
Mullins Supply Barn sits on South Main Street in Crittenden, and it's the kind of store where you can pick up a bag of horse feed, a scoop of minnows, a box of screws and a pair of work boots on the same trip. We're a farm and home store, so the shelves are stocked the way people around here actually live: livestock and pets, hunting and fishing, work clothes, plumbing parts, seed and straw, and bulk material for whatever's going on in the yard.
We're family run and part of the Pro Innovations family, alongside Pro Custom Building and Pro Logging and Firewood, which is where our firewood and smoking wood come from. If you need a full load of gravel or topsoil delivered and spread instead of hauled home in a truck bed, that same family runs a 14-truck dump fleet. Crittenden, Dry Ridge, Williamstown, Verona and Corinth, we're a short drive and one phone call away. Call 859-428-0165 and we'll tell you what's on the floor.

Feed your animals at Mullins Supply Barn
Feed
Feed sells by the animal here. Horse feed, cattle feed, goat feed, dog food and cat food, plus poultry supplies for the birds out back. We carry Kalmbach Feeds and Tribute Equine Nutrition, EquiPride from SweetPro, forage and range blocks, and Joy dog food. Straw and hay bales stack up when the weather turns. If you're not sure which bag fits what you're feeding, tell us the animal and what you're trying to fix and we'll walk you to it. Call 859-428-0165 and we'll check the bag you need.

Live bait first, then the tackle wall
Hunting and Fishing
The live bait comes first, because it's what people come in for. We keep a minnow tank and a goldfish tank running, live bait in the coolers and frozen bait in the freezer, so you can stop on the way to the lake without adding a half hour to the trip. Behind that there's a tackle wall, rods, and the small stuff that always gets forgotten: hooks, sinkers, line and bobbers. Deer and turkey are mounted over the top of it. Call 859-428-0165 to check on bait before you drive over.
- Live minnows
- Goldfish
- Frozen bait
- Tackle wall
- Rods
- Hooks and sinkers
- Fishing line
- Bobbers and floats

Ariat, Key and Dryshod, tried on before you buy
Workwear and Boots
The workwear floor runs jeans, overalls, bibs and jackets. Key bibs and Key apparel are here for the folks who've worn nothing else for thirty years, and Ariat hangs on the racks beside them. The boot wall is Ariat Work and Dryshod, including Dryshod Tuffy boots sized for kids, so the whole family can get out of wet ground in something that stays dry. Boots you can try on with your own socks beat boots that show up in a box. Come put a pair on, or call 859-428-0165.
- Ariat jeans and apparel
- Key bibs and Key apparel
- Overalls and coveralls
- Work jackets
- Ariat Work boots
- Dryshod waterproof boots
- Dryshod Tuffy kids' boots

Bulk bins, and the one part the job is missing
Hardware and Plumbing
The fastener wall is bulk Hillman bins, wood screws and sheet metal screws by the handful instead of a sealed pack of a hundred when you need eleven. Around it sits the general hardware a repair actually takes. Plumbing is its own aisle here, not an afterthought: fittings, valves, supply lines and the pieces that fix a leak today rather than after a run up the interstate. Tell us what you're working on at 859-428-0165 and we'll tell you if it's on the shelf.
- Bulk wood screws
- Sheet metal screws
- Nuts, bolts and washers
- Plumbing fittings and valves
- Supply lines and connectors
- General hardware
Seed, straw mat and mulch for the yard and the field
Landscaping
Bulk grass seed goes out of the bins by weight: contractor's mix for a big rough patch, KY 31 for pasture and hard ground, turf fescue for a lawn you want to look at. Cover crop wheat is here for fall, and straw mat for holding a new slope or a bare seeded strip through the first hard rain. Mulch comes in bulk, so a trailer or a truck bed beats bag after bag. Not sure how much it takes? Call 859-428-0165 with rough measurements and we'll figure it.
- Contractor's mix grass seed
- KY 31 fescue
- Turf fescue
- Cover crop wheat
- Straw mat for new seeding
- Bulk mulch
- Straw bales
Dirt work material, plus on-road and ag tires
Gravel and Topsoil
Bulk gravel, topsoil, sand and fill go out by the scoop or by the load, whichever the job takes. If it's more than a pickup can carry, the same family runs a 14-truck dump fleet through Pro Innovations, so a full load can be delivered and spread instead of shoveled twice. While you're loading up, we also carry on-road and ag tires, because the trailer and the tractor tend to need something the same week the driveway does. Call 859-428-0165 and we'll talk the job through with you.
- Bulk gravel
- Topsoil
- Sand
- Fill dirt
- Bulk mulch
- On-road tires
- Ag and tractor tires
- Full loads through the family dump fleet
Cut and seasoned by the family's own logging crew
Firewood
The firewood comes off Pro Logging and Firewood, the family's own logging operation, so it's cut and seasoned by people we sit down to dinner with rather than bought off a pallet from three states away. Smoking wood is stocked right alongside it for anybody running a smoker or a grill through the weekend. Wood moves fast once the cold sets in, so it's worth calling 859-428-0165 before you drive over to see what's stacked and how you're going to get it home.
- Seasoned firewood
- Smoking wood for the smoker
- Smoking wood for the grill
- Wood cut by Pro Logging and Firewood
- Loads for the woodstove or fireplace
- Wood for a fire pit or camp
